City archives Magdeburg

The city archives of Magdeburg store the „historical memory” of the city Magdeburg. Especially the registers of the civil registry offices are very important to genealogists. If you need to have information concerning the time of the register office (from 01.10.1874), we are happy to gather the information for you.

For this we presented our experiences regarding the use of the old registers of the register offices in a professional article. In addition we also consult the address books of Magdeburg, civil records and other archival documents as well as picturized journals to do the family research for you.
